Improvised Poem based on a Medieval doctor story: The man walks down the road and joins up with some friends. They say, "come down to the plaza square!" The doctor’s hanged a man from his feet on the gates of this town. Gathered around, the townsfolk look on this broken man. They see his face flushed with blood, his hair strewn all around, eyes open and face grinning in ecstacy.

Dreaming is soundscape music. There are moments where these tracks feel swampy, wet, airy, desert... and like dreams they aim to switch between those worlds seamlessly and magically.

-The Boat was a first attempt at long-form delay-based music. It features the flute heavily, and the water-on-a-boat sound effects were made using a wooden spoon inside plastic wrapping.

-First Love / Late Spring is a Mitski song from Bury Me at Makeout Creek. It came up accidentally in that first flute melody at the beginning, so i decided to run with it!

-The Hanged Man is a tarot card that depicts a person hanging from their feet (click on the track to see it!) - they're in a sort of reflective ecstasy. The improvised lyrics tell a story of a Medieval man looking on at a public hanging, apparently a common way for doctors of the time to advertise their healing powers. Hm~

All three of these tracks are improvised from start to finish, except the lyrics taken from Mitski's First Love / Late Spring and some minimal fading between ideas in The Boat and The Hanged Man.
